Of course we should give them lives just like us. Maybe we can get them apartments, possibly internet and cable. I'm not saying what this video shows is right, but there has to be some limits on this animal rights thing. There are SOME companies out there doing the right thing. When you drain the blood out it's DEAD!!!!! It can't feel anything if it's already DEAD!!! People miss the point - it's not the killing that's cruel, if it's done properly. The animals are stunned and are dead within 90 seconds at my local abbatoir. It's the life they live. All meat produced animals should be free range!

I had a self sufficient permaculture farm where we raised all our own animals. I have also worked in abattoirs. All killing is grim business. However when it comes to raising animals for food, it IS possible to do it humanely. Free range is of course critical and people should be made to pay the extra cost. It is the cost cutting which creates the most inhumane situations. I am happy to pay five times as much as average for my eggs and meat for peace of mind.

Its a job mate ,im 15 years old and work in a slaughter house . i know what goes on in there and it happends for a reason mate . meat helps us grow cows are full of it big deal world keeps spinning . they kill and bone out roughly 800-900 cattle a shift but i get good money for it and i hear the cattle are treated perfect or otherwise the company would loose millions of dollars
