Yes, we have rhythm and lead courses which certainly apply to the electric guitar. All our lesson are at eyeguitar dot com. Check it out, they are only $3 buck a pop, certainly cheaper than taking lessons from a live teacher and you will be very happy with the teaching methods. He will also answer questions posted on the site.

depends of what sound you prefer dude
Spanish guitar is way easier to learn on.
After you get used to playing, you can then try out a narrower necked guitar like an acoustic or electric, and switch over.
This is advice for beginners, based on seeing
people struggle with the 'wrong' type of guitar, and be much happier when they try out a nylon string classical.
It's pretty obvious really!
