You, sir, are amazing. Just thought you should know.
I'll make a cartoon. "There are no Christians in a Muslim foxhole."
A soldier lies bleeding, surrounded by death, and he kisses the cross hanging around his neck. When Allah speaks to him, he says, "Oh, crap. You mean I was wrong? I'll wait for the next god, thanks."
At death, we all look, wish, and wonder for an answer, some more time, or the alleviation of pain. There are no gods, so there are no answers. We hope at that moment that we've lived the best life that we could.
God says that everyone, by nature, believes in God. Athiesm is just a denial of your conscience. Forget arguments on both sides, close your eyes, and ask yourself, "have i got a creator"
to know god, make a small effort, and god will show you more and more his existence.
You can be brainwashed from birth to believe in a fear of a fate worse than death: the afterlife, God's wrath, and Hell (eternal torment). Fearing that, you will want to do anything you can to avoid Hell, anything this God tells you to do as a means to survive well into the afterlife.
You no longer have a value on life by believing that.
You will mutilate and murder people if God wants you to, just so you can avoid Hell and get into heaven.
Religion is has no place in this new world. The rule of survival is "adapt or die". That which cannot adapt will die with time, and religion is one of those things.
You choose not to seek somewhere to place blame for your problems.
That shows amazing willpower.
You have accepted your situation and you didn't resort to supernatural explanations for personal reassurance.
It takes a powerful individual to accept life for what it is in a such dire occurrences.
You are indeed a great man. A toast to your health, may you enjoy life to its fullest.
p.s. not trying to force anything on you, but....if you tried everything else what can it hurt to ONCE..put your faith in him. Just maybe : )
