There is no talk show better suited to replace Conan Obrien than the Duke Fightmaster Show. Sure, it's been announced that Jimmy Fallen will be the replacement for Conan Obrien, but Conan has not been replaced until Conan has been replaced. Duke Fightmaster will not slow down one iota. Let me tell you a story. Sure Duke might have had a little issue with LSD as a youngster, but that did not stop him from fulfilling his vision of becoming Class President of his high school. Very similar situation as the Conan replacement story. The class president had been hand picked by by the activities director, much like Lorne Michaels has hand picked Jimmy Fallen to fill the late night position when Conan replaces Leno. Lorne claims that the transition should be easier for Fallen because people already know him. The problem with this logic is that the people who know him don't care for him that much as a movie star. Why would they all of a sudden accept him as their talk show host. So this activities director ha
nd picks the new president and attempts to discourage Duke from running. All attempts to stop Duke from fulfilling his vision had failed and he made it on the ballot. The day of the election and the speeches came. Duke rocked the house with a Jimmy Hendrix guitar speech set to Purple haze. "If you want the year to go by faster, vote Duke Fightmaster!" The crowd went crazy. At the end of the day over the loud speaker it was announced that the other guy won. Much like it was announced that Jimmy Fallen has won the Conan spot. The people went into a rage. An underground flyer went out that had two messages: 1. Message to the faculty - The students demand a revote. 2. Message to the students - If there is no revote then REVOLT! Long story short a revote crowned Duke as the true president. Message to the viewing audience of the world "Demand Duke!" if they don't give you Duke then "REVOLT!!!!!!!!!"
