W'salam- not all Muslims on the planet use this as their greeting. Hadiths add to the religion, most of the teachings are unverifiable and contradict much of the Quran. Just becoz I don't believe in Hadiths doesn't mean I don't believe in Mohammad. Many non-sectioned Muslims don't believe in Hadiths becoz there are thousands, all of which are unverifiable that the original author was who he said he was. The Quran says to not add to the religion. Hadiths add to the religion.

All your quotes don't prove that Hadiths are real. All it does is prove you're supposed to follow Mohammad as stated in the Quran. Sunnah is an addition in the Hadith, not in the Quran. And it's not right and it's not acceptable. I obey Mohammad, everything he's asked me to do in the Quran I do. After that, I follow my heart and pray for guidance. I would never touch the Hadiths as a part of Islam becoz it's proved to usually contradict the Quran.

Let's think about this. Yes I did mention that I thought that there would be some women there but only in the sense that women make up half of the world's population and therefore I would expect to see both genders represented, and simply thought it odd statistically that only one was there. Also, let's suppose for the sake of conversation that I was going there for the women. Can you think of a worse place than a mosque to find them because if you did they would be all covered up.

Where in the Quran does it say to pray 5 times a day and what to say in the sujood while praying? Where in the Quran does it say that a Muslim must pay 2.5% zakat on their wealth after reaching nisab level? Where in the Quran does it say that passing wind breaks the wudu? Where in the Quran does it say that in Ramadan if one has sexual relationship their fast breaks? the list goes on. may Allah guide us all.

& I can reassure u sister there is not 1 hadith that contracts the Quran, that is how much trust we Muslims have in the preservation of the Quran & The Hadith - Allah has protected them until then Last Day. InshAllah we can discuss this via email not on this comment section if you wish to, because it is not very productive to discuss the most precious thing we have "islam" over a comment section. It may be due to my limited knowledge (anyone knows the answer please correct me if I am wrong) but I do not think that Quran asks specifically to learn the hadith also. But it is the general consensus of the Ulema (the Islamic scholars) that since Quran allows a bit of room for interpretation and subjectivity (in some matters; on some others matters the guidance is quite explicit) that for more guidance Hadith should be referred to.
