CLASSIC LucasArts rulez. The point and click adventure games were the king. Monkey Island 4 is a little bit disappointing.

thronka, you seem quite confused as to what SUMM is and what it isn't.
That's like saying MI2 does not use SCUMM, it uses VGA and MS mouse drivers. :P SCUMM and its devs are even listed in the credits in MI3.

Scumm is the name of the engine but you don't need the ScummVm to play that game under Windows. I know what I am talking about.

If you have any problems, you can always emulate with Scummvm.
The first two you can get working very nicely with scumm (however, you do have to rip the music from the cd if you have the cd version (other versions like floppy are all featuring midi files)

Ahhh...I can just taste it...as I suck on the straw poked deep inside a fresh green coconut spiked with a heavy dose of rum and a splash of pineapple. And that music... *bliss*. I think I need some more rum. Ja-maaaaaay-kan Mon, of course.
I loved these games when they first came out years ago, and have just bought CMI for 8 bucks at KMart here in Oz. Now all I have to do is figure out how to get it to run smoothly on Win XP.
These point-and-click games were the best. Ahhh...the good ole days
