The Socialist International (Originally called the Second International,) is the global organisation of all Socialist, Social-Democratic and Labour parties on this great earth. Not only is it one of the oldest surviving political organisations, it's one of the biggest, uniting all working men and women and striving to protect their interests together with the international trade union movement.
I made this film to illustrate the SI's size and its might against the cruel injustices on both sides of the political spectrum.

Horrible man.
I understand there was a lot of support in the Cabinet War Rooms to carry this plan out, but Churchill was having none of it, even though he knew it would work. Odd. Very odd.
But I really do agree with you, modern European Social-Democrats have lost their way. Die Linke in Germany has the right idea, and slowly, they're becoming a credible force to be reckoned with. Don't give up, the revolution is just a T-shirt away!
Did you not suffer under Apartheid? Socialism is against racism and imperialism. Young and old, black and white all are equal.
You would be much poorer under hyperactive Capitalism such as that in the US. As we speak, the poor are bailing out the rich on Wall street, while they are struggling to feed their families. Socialism SHOULD mean the redistribution of wealth to those who made it. You do work, don't you?
Personally, The Left Bloc (Bloco de Esquerda) look quite good. Marxism should not be about dogma and code, but about getting out there and doing it. B.E. Seem to be doing that.

The SI is so obviously all power politics anyway, so don't expect us to believe your "happy-socialist-family" propaganda.
Incidentally, you can believe whatever you want to believe. I won't tell you how to think.
I currently like the approaches of Helle Thorning-Schmidt and Martin Schulz seem to be sane.
About CHP: it must be power politics, my Turkish friends say it is high time to now have a real democratic socialist party, but this might need help from the SI.
