| No matter what, those snakes are abused and tormented - but it doesn't always include making them non-venomous. They key is to keep something moving (and distracting) but out of the reach of the snakes bite. Additionally, cobra's have a downward strike angle, which really puts them at a disadvantage. That's why you don't see them doing this with rattlesnakes. Those that kiss them always kiss on top of the head and keep something else rapidly moving just out of the snakes reach. |
