Umm you need to ... ( 6 months ago by BrickLaneBetty)
Umm you need to look up Abraham Lincoln Birgade in wikipedia, it has nothing to do with what you wrote. It refers to the American Spanish Civil War vets who joined the international brigades to Franco's fascism. Too many crazy Christians like yourself don't know even the most basic history. That's why you can talk about children "deserving to die" which is satanic.
Well, I was ... ( 6 months ago by lyden2006)
Well, I was actually aware. I was just giving some detail to you about the man behind the name. Also, when there is war the law falls silent. Even for the children.

Germany did attack us first. They were sinking American supply ships to Europe. That is an act of war.

In a unified world of power politics and global aspirations the Monroe doctrine of U.S. isolation in the Americas would never work.
Basically what your ... ( 4 months ago by SirFrancis988)
Basically what your saying is wait to be attacked. I can't agree with you on this statement nor can I agree that you think nation building is a bad idea. After ww1 the british and french robbed the germans because they lost the war. Then of course they elected hilter so on and so on. After WW2 we rebuilt germany and put in place a stable government not rebuilt on resentment. Thats the way to do it.

as pointed out
THE US EXAUSTED ALL EFFERTS to avoid entering the war in europe(which was wiping out all the major forces of the time and setting up the field for the emergence of the US as the number 1 post WW2 world power)
the US did not declare war on germany
EVEN AFTER PEARL HARBOR
Hitler declared war on the US
-so I am sure that this guys just like any other president whould have fough a war declared on the US-

BUT THE US BENEFITED form that very same reluctance
Weird thing is, USA ... ( 4 months ago by Dirtcreature)
Weird thing is, USA took ages to join the fight against Facism in WWII, yet there were "Reds under the bed." Sometimes, I think the whole world can't stand the fact that a little island stood up to Hitler all on her own and didn't get any help until it wa half way over...
If America had sat ... ( 3 months ago by Ksim3000)
If America had sat back, the Nazis would have taken over Europe and become alot stronger threat then the Soviets. For one, it would have been a more prosperous power without Communism to hinder it. Also, it would have been dictating and leading wealthy countries like France, etc. And lastly, it had a more advanced military then even America. It would have built itself up, developed nukes and would have been more of a threat in the long run then the Soviet Union.
Ksim3000 Hitler ... ( 3 months ago by AnonymousBChurch)
Ksim3000 Hitler would have never risen to power without the financial backing of conservatives and business leaders/CEOs in the USA. Why build up an enemy just to fight him? Wait, we know why, it pays well. Well except for the dead soldiers.
Germany declared ... ( 2 months ago by MarkDouglasC)
Germany declared war on the USA, a few days after Pearl Harbor. Plus, they were firing at our shipping.
Im stunned that the people who are supposedly so steeped in knowledge about history --who act like they know ship from apple butter- don't know these very basic facts.
You're right. We ... ( 1 month ago by printo69)
You're right. We declared war on the Japanese after Pearl Harbor, then afterwards the remainder of the Axis Powers declared war on America.
None of you on this ... ( 1 month ago by krammitAll)
None of you on this have a partial grasp on history. Why did japan attack in the first place?
quite historically ... ( 1 month ago by krammitAll)
quite historically inaccurate. Germany lost the second they attacked Russia. The war was basically over for germany at that point. US allies (including my relatives) only rescued europe for communism, not fascism. I am not saying the west fought bravely and well, but it was more about not letting europe go communist.
Exactly what a ... ( 1 week ago by metalmike06)
Exactly what a couple other guys said - the remaining Axis powers declared war on us first. So if somebody declares war on us, what are we supposed to do? Ignore it? To answer the callers question in the video, yes, Ron Paul would have advocated force in Europe in WWII because Germany did declare war on us first. That is an act of aggression.
SA- You should have ... ( 1 week ago by Dedhedted71)
SA- You should have approached the argument this way. The caller is making the 300lb gorilla argument. Ask him what happens when your own country becomes the 300lb gorilla. Then tell him that a strong defence & declared wars are what we stand for.
America FUCK YEAH ... ( 4 days ago by VeritasAmantesVocat)
