not the guy(s) that directed, but there is connection in the original english dubbing from 1989 where as Kaneda you can hear Cam Clarke (in Metal gear solid he voiced Liquid snake, here just got normal accent) And Kei is voiced by Lara Cody (Rosemary from MGS2) But don't confuse with dvd special edition dubbing made by pioneer in 2001
