Maybe a wrong turn for Bloc Party. Have been one of my favourite bands for a while. Flux was brilliant, I'm not sure about the direction this is taking and I agree with gimo80 they will probably never make anything as good as Silent Alarm... Unfortunately. Hopefully album will be better. I suppose experimenting keeps music fresh.

Just listened to the album. It's definitley different. It's full of electronics and abrasive songs. But there are also soft songs like Signs and the highlight of the album,
Ion Square. Ares is intense, as is Halo and One Month Off. It's really different, but it is really good.
