Decreasing by 70k every what year or so. Assuming there are 3,000,000,000 computers in the world (modest amount) Mac should take over in around 4000 years or so.
Aesthetics are not important to everyone, anyone who knows their way around a computer can do a lot with a black screen and white font.
You say its faster, i strongly disagree with comparative specs and prices ranges.

You wanna say that linux isnt a competitive part of PC and still call windows a monopoly? I use linux every now and then. Why was it such a big then when MS office came to mac then?
Apple is not in my pocket, my car, my office, my living room, or my phone. Want to know what is? $50 LG V i had for 2.5 years, CD's in my car, a PC in my office, a samsung 50" DLP 1080i HDTVthat i had for over 2 years, with an Xbox 360 i have had for 3 years.
I dont need to buy the latest technology to feel like i have done something special.

Funny thing is, Mac copied a lot from Linux. If computer companies never copied eachother technology would never get better. Frankly i dont care who first came up with spell check, i like it.
I will say this to you. An out of the box OS X manages resources better then windows out of the box. Mine has specific processing limits, it doesnt hold ANY RAM of processing power back if i want to open at program so my opened programs will work at full capacity.
If you know what your doing with a PC its faster than the speed of light.
About the registry, thats why you stay smart and delete things in your registry that dont need to be there. Thats why my computer will consistently run faster than a mac with prices/specs.
