She's better than any Giselle I've ever seen. Mostly because she has a complete fluidity of movement. Mezentseva, for example, (and please no one pounce on me here,) looks like she is doing a series of steps beautifully but that have been considered and planned. Kim looks so spontaneous, and there are never any choppiness of movement. She is awesome!!

she's probably my most fav giselle. whenever i watch ballerinas, i tend to have ekaterina gordeeva (a figureskater) in mind. kim is just as comparable to her, especially her expression, grace and elegance. and this my most fav interpretation of that ballet. i agree with blandeenka. she is so fluid. and she seems to have that quiet humility in her performance that i find so refreshing.

She has a quiet and strong center of gravity.She has the expansive pique arabesque from the soviet school and sweeping attitude turns.A sweet peasant girl that Albrecht can't resist.Her dancing proves why. Perfect.The set is absolutely the most ravishing I have ever seen.

i guess it was like a year ago that i first favorited this video...and it still continues to blow my mind. she really paid attention to the small details - from the coyish way in which she glances at albrect to how she takes time to stretch through each movement. and its those details that set her apart from the many ballerinas who have done this same variation.
