I agree that Bush & co have done a lot of wrong, but you give us no facts or examples and why we should be persuaded to your point. Tell us why the FISA bill is against the constitution, tell us why granting immunity is worse than what Nixon did, tell us how the executive/Republican power grab is bad for democracy. If anyone is reading this and really cares, check out "Broken Government" by John Dean. A good read, a comprehensible read for every American.

Put together a website that allows all people to "sign petitions of the people". The dark side of congress would sneer at your attempts, but would choke in fear if you reconciliated with the homeless (including the vets that motivating powers have used and since cast aside), and altogether stood up for what's right. Nominate suggestions for vote, petition to be heard. It legal, and it doesn't impose face to face contact or the threat of violence.
Do in unity, what your leaders cannot.
