Jesus was angry at the religious leaders because they made believing in God a ritual as oppose to a relationship, and they used God to make themselves look high and mighty when they weren't. Jesus said there is no one good except God. And Jesus made no distinction between people. Why else would He witness to a Samaritan.

So to say Jesus was made at those "religious white people" sounds like Jesus had a problem with white people. He had a problem with them thinking that their race had more importance, and that they used religion to make themselves self righteous. But it wasn't because they were white that made them evil. slipperypavement, the term middle east is a political name, just as the Mercader Projection of a map is designed to view different from the Peters projection which is a true view of the world proportion. Also is Judaism a religion NOT a race. I'm watching President Obama on 60 minutes. It is refreshing and a great feeling to have an intelligent president who is knowledgeable about the questions asked, doesn't try to be cute, and can piece a sentence together that makes sense. All he needs is half the support and patience that Bush was given. He'll do just fine.

I understand that Judaism is a religion and that black is a race. Now, Jesus was not white either, he was of the semitic race. Jews are Semitic. Biblically, they traveled from Egypt, but the Hebrews were not Black. They were of light brown Middle Eastern shade. Ancient paintings that the Vatican possesses, and the ancient writings do not say he was dark.
