quite easily, I would think. throwing it on the ground would probably result in a similar impact, dropping it off the empire state wouldn't be much different from dropping it from 40 - 50 meters. once it reaches its terminal velocity, it wouldn't go any faster.

I only managed to break my old baby g with a huge hammer and a chisel on the glass!! running it over multiple times didn't even faze it. the glass is about 5 mm thick!! even when I broke the glass, it still beeped when i pressed buttons and it still did my 6 O'clock alarm!

I lost a G-Shock in a Xmas turkey. It survived the 5hr bake and now resides in my uncle. God only knows if he'll last as long as the battery.
