bono gives a hell of a lot of money to africa. You must envy bono or something, because there is nothing to dislike about him, hes a great man, and he deserves all that he has. If you want what he has, try to get there... he's worked his ass off and you should give him the credit he's worked for. All u2 songs have meaning, unlike most of the clechet music we hear today, about lovers, which is fucking annoying after time.

I think the fact he's using his status for the good of Africa, and not for himself (no flash cars), shows him to be a honest, devote family man.

Not to mention if people would take notice hes not a pompous prick so I'm 100% positive hes not gonna go around boasting I gave this amount of money to this foundation and this much to another. There are many people who believe in not boasting about donations. A very important lesson in the great book.

Nothing weird about music saving you life in some way or another. It has saved mine a few times. You "say" your son is named after them...? What's his name, if you don't mind sharing... it's not "U2" is it? Perhaps named after one of the members or a variation of sorts? Happy travels!

No it's not U2. I tried to make a name out of their's but it was too hard. I dated a Paul and a David once and they weren't the best relationships I had so it had to be something that would make me remember the band and what their music did and still does for me so I named him Joshua. One of the best album's ever and he is truly the best son you could ask for.
If your interested the name of the hotel that Bono and Edge has is called The Clarence. Check out the web site it's a beautiful hotel

That was so nice of that guy to bring Bono the wine his father made... the hungarians are very proud of their alcohol

whiners or enviers, jealous or what ever you are. all the proceeds from their very best song, ONE, goes to charity. it will continue to earn 10's of mil.s . u2 have money because they've earned it. bonos time is valuable. you couldn't add up how much time he has spent, given. he raises 100's of mil.s for charities. yet all he asks for is your voice!
