You're the extremist since you not only use the language of genocide here, you glorify murder, subjugation and mass slaughter. Afghanistan is for the Afghans. They were the best side in Afghanistan and their popularity is ever increasing. These poor vilagers have brought single handedly the strongest military down on its knees. Bravo! Bravo!.
And no the Vietcong were extremely brutal than the Taliban but their moral upperhand in the conflict is the same like that of the Afghans here.

I don't glory in murder and suffering, but Muslim extremists sure do. They even make videos of their horrific beheadings. Those videos are on sale in most markets in the Muslim world. Many Mosques in the West and the bookshops affiliated to them also have this degenerate material. By comparing the Vietcong who did not commit atrocities on a daily basis as you suggest(unlike the Taliban and Al Qaeda who you support) you are insulting the bravery, ingenuity and moral integrity of the Vietnamese.

Well obviously you do as you condone the extremist and brutal actions of rape, abu ghraib, war OF terror, Gitmo, Bagram base and numerous torture camps through out the region belonging to the US. By contrast only a few miscreants among the resistance which like most resistance are dispaerate groups indulge in such things and are destroyed by the resistance themselves like Sons of Iraq and ribal lashkars in central asia. The Taliban and Al Qaeda are intolerant, extremist, bloodthirsty barbarians. You keep mentioning the Vietcong as if by comparing Islamic extremists with Socialist revolutionaries, that somehow makes both causes morally equivalent. The only thing they had in common was fighting US troops. The US was entirely wrong in Vietnam and they have never expressed regret. But the US isn't wrong in Afghanistan (though they were wrong in Serbia and Kosovo by supporting KLA terrorists) the Taliban started it.

The Taliban and Alqaeda are 2 totally diferent things. That alone right there is where you are wrong. And there is absolute similarity of Afghan resistance with that of VC, or paletinains against the Israelis or the phllipinos when they were fighting the US ocupation of phillipines. All different in culture yet similar circumstances. This is called learning from history. Taliban are a moral resistance and can b compared to VC even though VC were much more brutal and indiscriminate.
