You dont get the fantom sounds "INTO" FL. You have to record into it or use midi to make FL trigger the sounds in the fantom .. still you have to record the audio from the fantom into FL. MIDI = DATA SIGNAL.. NOT audio.

Is there any latency when you connect fantom to pc?which sound card do you use?

Even cards that claim "0 latency" arent ever really TRUE 0 latency. The thing is that once you get below the 10ms mark on latency you really cant hear any delay whatsoever. This is why the cards that claim 0 latency are really about 10ms or less. I myself use the E-MU 0404. a 100 dollar pro card that does everything I could ask of it and more. I have it set at 8ms and there is no delay at all.

The E-MU 0404 has 1/4" in's and outs, RCA in and out(digital), an optical plug and midi in and out. You can also buy the E-MU Synch Daughter Card which has word clock on it to get all your devices sync'd to the same bitrate or resolution. I have 6 devices that are midi capable. The fantom has a USB, TD-SSW thru the E-MU midi ,Yamaha PSR-540 that is running on a turtle beach USB midi hub. My soundcard has no problems handling a shitload of audio tracks, midi tracks, VSTi's and VST's.

I do both. If I want to get really on point with my notes to where everything is perfectly on beat and quantized then I use midi. I really barely ever do this though. I like the more natural sound of my playing live and recording. 99.9 percent of my beats is like that. I am still trying to finish my "Fantom Midi and audio into FL TUTORIAL VIDEO" so please be patient.

yes. Everything is recorded audio into FL 7 XXL. I use midi occasionally but not too often. I like the feel of live instruments. Now I record live drums as well. No more samples.

yo buzzhawg was up i just bought the x6, When im in patch mode the sounds are crisp and got life to em but when i go to peformance they change up and get dry. im tryna keep em sounding life they sound in patch mode. i messed with src etc etc nothin working. if you cold help me out fam i really would appreciate it. i read da manuel nothin helps with this problem
