I heard it squeak a tiny bit a few times. When I play it usually does that when I accidentally hit another string very light with the bow (or just loose the preassure.) I'm not very good so it happens all the time for me, haha.

I think that depends on what age they are. I'm Swedish myself, and I know out of experience that many Swedes are pretty bad at English. Myself included.

uhhh i wouldn't agree cello is the hardest...think of all of the note we need to reach while violinist have them right there. :P and grade 8 cello...you mean suzuki? suzuki 8 isn't really much...no offense...bragging isn't very good...:( Just because Rostropovish chose an easy song doesn't mean he's a bad player. He's one of the best cellist of all mankind!

THANK YOU FOR BEING SO HONEST!!! SERIOUSLY! wat is wrong with ppl? ok...some ppl obviously like to brag or they rather "kno" that there so "great at the cello". ppl mite have the talent of quickly learning the beauty of cello but to master an instrument will take more than a life time. so lets hope that ppl r sensible enough to NOT BRAG whether they r first seat or conduct. whos knos...mayb ure teacher felt KIND enough to let u conduct. UGH!!! i really hate ure guts...y dun u just make an entire list of wat ure good at and then brag all day long! Tell the world u can make the room fill with emotion just like Rostropovich, tell them that u played a shorter amount of time than Rostropovich but mastered it and can out play him any day. Cello is not the easiest.
I'm not saying it's the hardest, but it takes lots of practice to get the warm tone that people expect the cello to have.
If you're saying it's easy, you're probably not playing it warmly.
Grade 8?
If you're talking about Level 8 music, there's no such thing.
If you're talking about Suzuki's Grade 8 it isn't much to brag about.
And Rostropovich was one of the greatest cellists who ever lived.
Just because he picked an easier song, doesn't mean he's a bad player.

hey zanibug (?WFT?), regardless of what you do in your high school, it's not giving you very much authority on the ease of instrumentation. AND making noise on every instrument isn't the same as learning the particulars, of each instrument, and earning the muscle memory to use them in their own specific manner. Stop claiming such bs.

This work does not need to ashame if you compare it to a big concert. I love it!
