The object of oppression is oppression. The object of torture is torture. The object of murder is murder. The object of power is power. Power is an end in itself, not a means to an end; one does not create "chastity laws" to enforce chastity, one creates them to enforce tyranny on the powerless.
And it is a right, but not just a right, it is an obligatory duty of every moral person to overthrow those who enforce such rules, using peaceful means if possible, and force, if necessary.
