These guys are studio drummers. They play solo drums. Their stuff is so out there...there is NO way any band could keep up with this unless they are just outrageous. Plus, these guys specialize in something completely different than ensemble work. It's rare for them to all be playing together like this.

Metal drumming is way underrated... the speed and precision necessary to play at live events is uncanny... and the endurance to be outstanding. Though I do agree.... Metal drummers lack the creative ability to perform outside their standard bounds.. but metal calls for speed and creative talent takes a back seat in metal situations.
