I think it's a great song about a huge love of a simple man to his home. This song expresses HIS sorrow because bad things are happening there but it's still HIS HOMETOWN.
And of course this song is not a reason for a clash. But it's a reason to think about the things that are dear to you. Are you ready to stick to them all your life? Are yo ready to give them to your children?..
