Find the 164 drives like a big GTi. 205 tyres are skinny by todays standards but you can use them to the full. Love it to bits and it has never let me down.
Just WTF is your problem, Antifacio? This is your politest comment on my Alfa videos - you other was even more insulting and had to be deleted.
Are you simply a moron or just stupidly antagonistic? And thanks for the 2-star rating you gave each video - are you a merchant banker, by any chance?
Especially the best ones :-)
Great car! Congratulations! Go Alfa Romeo! :)
Yes it does but the torque/power curves are far more peaky than the 12v so at very low rpm the 12v 3 litre 164 is actually a tiny bit faster - and then is blasted into the weeds as the revs rise :-)
Series 1 or 2? Either way, great choice. It took me 6 months to find mine so you must have searched like hell to get a Cloverleaf. Good luck with sorting the gearbox and don't loose your licence :-)
Are they reliable? clutch electrical stuff etc seem to the weakest part. What do you think? please give some tips:)
Exhaust systems are pretty good, interior tends to wear well, they have amazing handling. These are great cars if looked after now very rare indeed.
Can't get more than 130? That is seriously slow. How is it running?
GattiF50, you could. I've only done it once, to demonstrate a point to a friend, and couldn't see anything behind because of the tyre smoke. Was fun but not exactly tyre/clutch friendly :-)
A friend has suggested that the standard airbox is restrictive but altho mine is the standard one its got a cold air feed and a Kn filter.
Bit annoying really, any suggestions? "
How does it run at idle? Better when cold?
