Im told there is some symbolism behind her videos but Im not seeing it... does anyone else. Dont get me wrong though she is a very talented and unique artist, but you already knew this since your watching.

I guess it depends on the definition one would use for symbolism. One could even say this comment, or language as a whole is symbolism as words are not what they stand for but a symbol but that would go to far, right? ;)
I think this is a rather badly made music video, using rather obvious and overrated pictures, who even worse are being so overused by the industry that it wouldnt qualify for symbolism in my books.

That wouldnt be too far at all, only the truth. It wouldnt qualify as symbolism in mine either, however symbolism is something that can be harder to find, which was the reasoning behind the question. (what seems to be just common can sometimes be deeper than one thinks) Thanks for your insightful coment ;) ,you are certainly someone I would enjoy having a conversation with.

If you ever do, you'll deffinately enjoy it! I saw her last night and she came into the audience. It was pretty cool. She's kinda strange but she is still a really good singer.

I LOVE Chan, but was seriously let down by her show at The Wiltern in LA. Practically every song that she played was from her newest discs, Jukebox and The Covers Record. Nothing from Moon Pix, Your Are Free or The Greatest. It completely lacked any energy and her backing band was too loud and covered her vocals (The main reason that anyone goes to see her). I guess the only time to see her was before The Greatest came out when she played in small clubs.
