He meant if you hit anyone anywhere in the body, they are down. If you hit someone in the arms, legs, or stomach, anywhere that doesn't kill instantly, you still have time to turn around and cap their ass before getting shot again.

In a combat situation, if you'll shoot someone with a bullet like the .22, there's a higher probability that he's still gonna have time to take his gun and shoot back at you. With a 50 cal, the chance is much lower.

lol, you are stupid. Imagine a combat situation, when you shoot the enemy with a .22 in the legs/stomach. he's probably gonna fall to the ground, but of course he's gonna be able to take his m4 or pistol out and shoot you. He's not gonna be able to do that if you will shoot him with a 50cal.

He should have said that it is the 7.62x33, for the AK47.
He said .308 because it is almost the same diameter, 0.3 inch=7.62mm.

Anyone who knows anything about ammunition and firearms in general IRL is not going to call a 7.62x39 bullet a .308. If you went to a gun shop and asked for .308 ammunition, you would recieve 7.62x51 ammo. Which undoubtedly would not work in your AK or SKS because the casing is obviously too long. Look it up on a ballistics chart if you don't believe they are different.
