I passed them and was a block away when this kid maybe 4-5 years old runs up to me and hands me a comb, points to the group of men and they bust out laughing...It bothered me for years. |

BUT.. aren't we supposed to look passed skin colours and such, rather than point them out? doesn't "not judging by one's skin tone" mean both not critisising AND not complimenting by it?! and let's face it.. had this song been sung by a white gurl, who was singing about how she loves white skin, it would have been all different comments i'd have been reading here.. i might be wrong, but i'm convinced the song would have been considered as being a racist one.. |
