When people say old AFI, what albums are the talking about?
My favorites are SYMAOE through DU but Answer That and Very Proud make my ears bleed. Am I a new AFI fan or an old AFI fan? People ask me all the time when I say I like AFI and I just list all the albums I like.

DU has some really great songs and some really poor songs. Some of my all time favorite AFI songs are on there and some of my least favs too.

my personal opinion is that old AFI is from before answer that and stay fashionable (they had like 10 songs with really crappy recordings but were never released on a full length cd) up until the art of drowning. new AFI is from sing the sorrow to december underground. if you're a real fan you'll support all their shit. u cant hate a band for changing their sound and its not like they changed it over night.
