I'm voting Obama! BUT... Thanks to your plan to increase funding to the already-unethical "Faith Based Initiative", I've also decided to donate $5000 to American Atheists and $5000 to the Civil Liberties Union. I've applied at several local churches and been turned down onteh basis of not being a member of the church, and, specifically, not being a member of their faiths. When those churches receive funding, I'll be sitting pretty with the money I get from the discrimination lawsuits.

Why would you lose faith in him? He's not accepting public funds BECAUSE he said he would not support lobbyists. The whole point of his campaign is to be for the people, not the rich lobbyists in Washington.

What you're saying, Sen. Obama, is "I believe in public financing, but I'll do anything to win." Change my butt. This makes at least 3 180 degree flips in the last 6 months. The most disgusting thing--the majority of the media are actually defending his decision! I used to laugh at the idea of media conspiracies, but we all know that if this had been McCain, the media would have torn him to pieces while chanting "McBush". *Leaving to burn my Obama bumper-sticker*

GoBig, you're right on the money. You might also want to note that McCain doesn't make much sense either...McCain sounds like he want's to go to bed with Obama! Good grief, he is tripping all over himself to let everyone know how much he likes, respects, adores, and admires the qualities of Barack. I was surprised when Obama voted for the unhindered wire-tapping, a bill sponsored by the GOP, Bush himself. I was even surprised hearing that Obama is now for a ground condition-based withdrawal from Iraq. I thought it was McCain's idea. Even in health care, some people insist that Obama is for universal health care coverage - but few months ago it was Hillary Clinton's campaign staple and Obama was more like status quo, health insurance for people who can afford it, not a mandated covergae.
