| I found it very interesting and confuse becuase I can not differentiate between laos and thai music becuase it sound so similar. On the other hand, I can tell cambodian from laos, thai and hmong. Since I am Vietnamese, and I found that all four countries have similar cultures and written form. But cambodian langauge is very unique of it own while the other three seem to be similar to me. But if I were to judge by the cultures, I can not really tell the different. Great music! I like it. |

| Thai and lao language are very similar, even some khmer words are similar and the same meaning as Thai and Lao also, and the culture between the 3 countries are identicle,such as the religion and architecture, foods...etc. |

| Scottml99, plz don't mind me asking you this question which is a bit off the subject. I'm a cambodian guy who's in love with a pretty nice/young Khmer krom-Vietnamese lady whose culture i'm not familiar with(khmer krom was part of Cambodia which was chopped up and handed it over to Vietnam by the Frenh in the 1940's. She's Khmer ethnic but Vietnamese citizen). Yeah, there're similarity in cultures, but still a lot that i dont know of and need to learn in order to make our relationship works.p1 |

| Hello Nvious6669, first I wish you the very best in your quest for true love. I am not doctor Ruth nor doctor Phil, but if I were you I would first learn the language she speaks to impress her that you're a negotiable gentleman. Second, I would learn to cook her favorite dishes to show her how caring of you for her well being. Third, learn her culture. | Back in 1984, when I was in the 8th grade I had a classmate and she from Cambodia or Laos but I am not sure & she really liked me. One day after school I visited my friend where he happened to live in the same neighborhood as this girl and I was greeted by this wonderful girl. She told me she really admire me and like me a lot. Stupidly I told her do not talk to me and called her stupid. To these days I don't know y I was so stupid back then. Perhaps, I was too immature :( |

| Who says lighting never strike twice? Well it did to me. Again, when I was a senior in high school a beautiful cambodia girl whose was a friend of my best friend girl friend said she want to date with me. Then I took her out to a movie once with no intention of lover or anythings. I turned her down broke her heart. But guess what? She married to a doctor now and I really happy for her becuase don't have to deal with a loser like me hehe...now I am old, ugly & less fortunate, it's sad! :( |
