Why is it when someone straps on a guitar their lives are all the sudden everyones buisness? I'm pretty sure alot of his songs he didnt want release. Cashing in on his sons death? He still wrote the song... doenst matter what its about..? I bet youvr made your fair share of mistakes.(not saying EC made any) Saying he influenced kids to do drugs? LOl Why dont we as a society raise kids to be leaders not followers! Not blame our shitty parenting on someone brave enough to put himself out there!

Perhaps it is something too silly to say, and I ve never read anything about his life ( because I didnt care to ) but I feel that a person that has written such songs and sang them in such a way, cant be bad. Anyone who has written even a small poem, knows that you cant fake emotions, and you cant bullshit people's hearts. To write a song that will make so many people cry, you gotta write from the bottom of your heart.

I might be missing something here, but stay with me. If, as some of you suggest by the nature of your comments. You hate Clapton so much and let's face it some of the comments are pretty, intense.
