He's wrong.
Probably 90% of the third-party PSP batteries can be hard-modded.
You can also just *buy* a pre-made one from Datel - the "TOOL" battery.

i hacked my first PS waaay back at 2.0
which was just downgrading back to the magical 1.50
you can only hard mod sony batterys.
i have personally hard modded 5 batteries
all sony
and i have opened up 3 different off brands
there set up is compleatly different
the only way to pandorize a non sony battery is by soft modding on an already hacked psp

i modded my psp and now it wont turn on.. like i took apart a battery n did the shiTT to it. and it auto turns on my friends psp.. but when i put it in to mine it doesnt turn on.. only thing my psp does it have an orange light when i charge it.. what do i do

ok so i did everything you need. i bought the pandora and magic mem stick, and i have 4.01 M33 2 CFW and i put nitepr, enabled it and when i start the game it DOES say press Home twice then both volume buttons, so i do that but nothing happens. plz help me i am starting to get so pissed!!

Lol when I was making my Pandora battery I accidentally cut into the side of the silver thing inside and there was a little explosion... I was freaked. But I taped up the hole and battery still works, all custom firmware installed as anticipated. Maybe I should get a new battery tho, cause this one might start leaking on me...

plz i have a question like a year ago my friend bricked my psp he made all the files shortcuts and deleted the real ones and it doesn't work now even when u hold the r button it does not go to recovery mode will pandora battery fix it i have the old psp not the slim one plz can some one tell me soon

No, you just run the custom firmware installer using a Pandora. Unbricking is only if it's bricked.
