The new-gen iPod nanos are an abomination of hardware design. I laugh at anyone who whips one out. If only Apple had stuck with their previous-gen players. The ugly, square looking nano video players are the worst thing Apple has come up with, hardware-wise.

I miss the nano before this video nano. Zune is amazing, I have one. With my 80g ipod classic, i've bought two every 6 months of the new gen. It's got serious hardware problems, so I bought a zune, NO slow connecting, no problems, I have over 15k songs, hard to sync to my ipod.

Ok.. i have a 80g zune and its great....(my sister owns a ipod classic...) and... stop being morons its just a music player.. same with the iPod.. they both are made for MUSIC...(music vids also... -.-).. they are both great for music i lean more on the zune side because ive always been a microsoft kind of guy..

Same, I've been looking at Ipods and Zunes for about 2 months now and this new 80gig Zune keeps popping up at the top of my list. One reason I don't want to go Ipod is I hate Itunes, and do not want to upload 68gigs of music into Itunes JUST so I can play it elsewhere. Zune, you can simply import from the PC

Zune is great, but the software sucks. Not as easy as Itune. Although i hope they do something like Itune. But compared to Ipod?? I like the Zune better, i do not get the USB device not recognized as i used to get with the ipod.

You need the Zune Hard Drive patch to do the USB device thing. Also, The Zune 3.0 software will be much easier to use.

I had one of these for four days before I returned it and got an iPod 120 gig. It made awfully annoying sounds through the headphones every time the hard drive would spin up or the backlight came on. There were also tiny gaps between songs. The iPod interface is way more user friendly and clutter free. Another thing I didn't like was the low resolution of the screen. Photos and video looked terrible. I'd rather have a smaller high res screen than a big low res one.

oh ... simple, just hit the button to the right of the "zune-pad" the has a picture of a play button and a stop button. This is used for both stoping the music and resuming it again!

I just got a Zune last week and for some reason i love the 30G version because of its size and body texture (no scratches). and the 3.0 firmware upgrade (it pretty much acts like the new ones exept for the touch sensetive pad) and i love it and in my opinion they are way better than ipods and yes ive owned 4 ipods before and i thimk theyre crap....i chose my 30G Zune over an ipod touch

seriously guys, the new zune is really really amazing. if youre smart, you will not just go buy an ipod just cause everyone else is using it. get the zune, its seriously much better, much sexxxier.
but i think they really gotta put an accelerometer in it, and the capability of using the zune with a mac.
other than that. ZUNE'S THE SHIT.

Yeah im getting a 120GB, have a iphone here, nothing can beat that =p But i need something with more storage, in my opinion the classics are just left out of the lineup, no updates ever. I have a Mac, and really really want compatability with it, but ill run on Vista until then.
