honestly, i'm a huge dylan fan, and i thought how they chose each separate character to portray a certain "phase" or "side" of dylan was pretty cool but the actual movie on the whole was pretty corny (in a sense of how they tied in quotes and whatnot) and it didn't really have too much of an in-depth storyline or climax or anything like that. just my opinion man. it was very entertaining the first time i saw it though. i'd catch it at least once if i were you.

It's a great movie, but I agree with Jamesyexton. But if you're just sort of a casual Dylan fan you might not get a lot of the subtle innuendos and such. But it's an amazing movie regardless.

i'm not there is kind of confusing, and you may have to watch it a few times to get it. but it's defintly awesome, and describes Dylan perfectly. don't rent it, buy it. =]

I think Dylan was such an icon as his compelling songs are accompanied by squalls of charisma. This somehow seperates him from all other artists, such for how fortunate this lifetime could see a man born with essential talent, unembarked in generations before.
