if you can fret 2.3 harmonic is the 2nd octave or the octave above the 24th fret.

I use the Jaco one the most actually. it makes it really easy to play with chords

The last method puts the RH completely out of position. However folk guitarists, who have a more curled along-the-strings hand position can use it more comfortably.
