| I think it's an awsum idea that they're doing this to help the people back home in my country. I also like the thought that they are expressing their connserns through music. I'm not a fan of green day and I don't listen to their songs that oftten but I've got to admit some of their songs rock. |

| well since you seem to be looking foward to running the show when you're older, which is good, you should understand that there are a lot of problems in THIS country that WE live in that should be fixed. and they include starving and abused children, innocent people getting shot and corruption in government. let's care for our own citizens first. then we can save people on the other side of the planet. but don't ignore the people here at home. |

| I understand that you're concerned with things here and i partly agree.I'm so passionate about the lives of the abused and molested and overall unjustly screwed over people of this copuntry but please try to understand that this goverment is trying all it can for them.they cant stop evil people corrupt systems and crappy parents.I love america i love it for the generosity that we have for others.money cant save the wounded here. but over there they need something FOOD and if we can help we will. |

| yeah. but my concern wasn't to call to attension the US government, our government is corrupt as hell. i was trying to call attension to all these people who feel we NEED to save everyone over in darfur. regular people with sympathetic tunnel vision. let the people of darfur shoot each other up until one day a new system rises and people can live their lives- without america getting involved. their day will come, and it will come without the aid of john lennon covers. |

| I disagree with you strong that our government is trying to help our own people. (Americans, that is.) And if you genuinely feel that way, you are naive, but that'll change with time. You don't have to wait to do something for people right now though. Get some friends, organize a food drive. Join a Run or Walk that raises money. Hell, sell Krispy Kreme donuts to raise money. Donate to Goodwill.There are plenty of things you can do now. And it will make you a better punk ;). |

| Yeah is not starvation/hunger in Darfur its genocide, and last I checked there wasn't "Death Squads" rolling through any American city that kill all the men and children and then rape then kill all the women only to burn the town to the ground before they leave. Why fight with people that want to help another country. Yes the US has a major problems and one of them is apathetic and selfish citizens, you seem to be one of them. |

| alright. you don't agree with me either. you feel it's of the utmost importance that we spend millions of dollars to feed a few hundred people only for them to starve again the next day and/or be shot. and green day's gonna help do just that. i guess you're not aware that there are hundreds of countries out there and millions more who could come here and plead their problems of situations just as bad as the ones in darfur. is this 1 country gonna save all these other countries all over the world |

| Very aware but criticizing someone or some band for trying to do some good is a joke. You certainly can have your opinions about it but why publicly criticize? I agree there is allot of other countries with problems but why criticize a CD trying to raise its own money for a cause, you don't agree with it don't buy it..Thats that. | when did i say green day should jump off a cliff? don't put words in my mouth man. and don't expect me to have accomplished what green day has. they're in their 30's and have been playing music together for almost two decades. i on the other hand am only 16. and in a band and playing shows around my neighborhood. so here's my bottom line- we can't save darfur. |
