Tool assisted runs. He slows the game down and advances the game one frame at a time. Not too much skill involved but A LOT of patience. I have nothing but respect for someone who can do this because I couldn't do a TAS run.

That's true, but he wasn't actualy hit. By blocking moves, you take a little bit of damage, and that's why he didn't get flawless victory in all the matches.
