actually nero angelo is vergil and has no relation to nero at all, the 4th game takes place after the first, nero is not vergil himselfm but the demon possesing the arm is vergil, just to correct u a bit ^^

so I was a little off ^_^, and I already knew DMC 4 took place after DMC1(the order is 3,1,4,2), but in essence i was right, they have major connection and that is probably why Nero looks almost exactly like Dante. But yeah, Nero is him...but not really.

no dante has rebellion the only game he had force edge in was the first game then he mixed force edge with both pieces of the amulet and that made the sparda sword which was the sword of his father and the sparda sword he gave to trish thats why in the second game he has rebellion and the third game is a prequel to the first game and the third game shows how he got force edge and the 4th game happens after the 2nd one so he has rebellion in the 4th game there thats it
