Wicca and Witchcraft are not the same thing, even though everyone associates them as coming from the same background. Witchcraft, is a religion. Wicca, is a way of life. The term Wicca is an old celtic term that means peasant. The actual pronunciation is (Wi-cha) it was used to separate those of the pagan followers from the rising Catholics church. BUT in a brilliant effort the Catholic church slowly started integrating pagan traditions into the church, such as Yule, or Samhain.

Spells, charms, incantations, are merely rituals and tools to use by a Witch, Pagan, or Wiccan. They are the same thing as prayers, we only adding a few different items, words, traditions. Magic itself is not Good or Evil, it is merely the force of will to change the world around you. For those Christians who read this i mean no disrespect but if you take a step back God is magic. By force of will be can add or change anything. Being his or her children we inherit some small ability as well.

If you are Irish you can use this to ligitamently get off from school for 1 week for a cultural holiday. I know you think I'm crazy... but it is a fact that in Ireland students get 1 week off from school for Halloween. So if you have a fair amount of Irish background, they are forced to give you the week off for cultural reasons. If you're not Irish... you can still get Halloween itself off if you declare yourself a Pagan.

hmm, i hate poeple that are sooo serious... anyway, halloween is fun for everyone, personally, i like scaring people, its just what i do. actually halloween is a catholic religion, even though im cristion, i know this because im interested into this kind of stuff.... Halloween is my FAVORITE time of year. So please people, if your reading this, please just have fun. it doesnt have anything to do with worshipping satan. God ftw

Thats true. Satan has nothing to do with halloween; quite frankly; i don't think religion has much to do with it! Halloween is a time of ghosts and creatures coming together for one night; a few skeletons and ghosts hung in house windows; and a few treats for the kids.

well it was Catholic before the pagans turned it into something else and the RCC had to detach from it, read your history. You will be very suprised if you search with an open heart and pray to the Holy Spirit before hand. Myself and my children we are having two parties, one on the 1st Nov All Saints day, and the other on 2nd Nov all Souls day. My kids are ooking forward to having lots of fun, and games, but in a positive way. We may have some nice fun tricks that will not scare. GB.
