While it's true that the CIA channeled weapons to the Afghan Mujahadeen in the 1980's to fight the Soviet Invasion, Osama bin Laden was not yet on the world stage yet and didn't rise to prominence until after the first Gulf War.

How can you say Osama had nothing to do with the CIA. Osama used to live in the States and once he lay in a hospital there. Its all documented. The fact that you dont have access to those documents is another story. If you ask your goverment for those files they'll say : Its 'TOPSECRET'.
