I tried listening to Panics version, with an open mind. Jesus Christ, I had to shut it off less than halfway through. They really did a terrible job covering this song. I haven't heard such a bad cover in a while.

Uh yeah, I finally broke down and listened to Panic's version after everyone talked about it. It's so horrible, that guy cannot sing at all. I honestly couldn't listen to the whole thing, he was butchering it.

ive heard it as well...i mean its not third eye blind quaility....but ide like to hear the lead of TEB signing panic songs....its not his fault he cant completey match his pitch on the album.....give him a break, at least he tried....it's not great but you have to hear where im coming from....any cover singer has the impossible goal of sounding like the album version of whatever there saying....i hear you 88XR4TI, so hear my position

im just gonna comment cause i love both bands
okay, brendan urie has a quality to his voice that just doesnt fit stephan jenkin's, (vice versa!) so it's not his fault that his voice doesnt gel with the song properly. personally, i think it's pretty cool that he likes 3eb in the first place!

i'm a big fan of both bands, and they're different from each other. they're good at their own style of music. but at least brendon can appreciate 3eb.

Third Eye Blind is amazing <3
Brendon Urie did a good job at covering it.
But TEB will always have my heart on this song <3 & their is a difference between the songs. Brendon Urie has a more powerful voice than Stephan Jenkins, & Brendon also put his own feel to it, he used a piano, You can tell theirs a guitar & piano. Either way, both versions are amazing <3
