Huh? Elvis Costello was popular.
And yes, it was Kurt Cobain who did that great thing for Daniel.
Loved it. ... ( 1 year ago by weheh2007)
Loved it. Beautifully executed and right on target. Cutting satire delivered artfully. Couldn't ask for more, except maybe an impeachement or two in Washington. Can you offer any help along those lines?

A sort of 'Fun at Felony Fair' kinda thing.
Keep up the great work!

I heard the interview with Ms. Guryan on Weekend America today (June 16), and got here through their website (The peice is titled, "To Look Back or Not to Look Back" if anyone is interested). The song is great, and the video complements the style and artistic vein perfectly. This is brilliant, and, while a short spot on a nationally syndicated radio program will certainly help it gain exposure, it would be fantastic if it were being played (and veiwed) everywhere.

Powerful!
I hope this means that a cd-sequel to "Take a Picture" is in the works.
The video is well ... ( 1 year ago by RonanHanna)
The video is well done and the tune itself is surprisingly catchy but this is barely satirical. "The Bush administration said things that were untrue" is hardly a revelation. Perhaps the makers of this song should focus their efforts on the current situation in Iraq rather than flogging this dead horse.
No, no no no. This ... ( 1 year ago by Zerimski)
No, no no no. This just isn't funny at all and is in fact completely devoid of intelligence. Nor does it display any real musical talent.
You're right, it's ... ( 1 year ago by weheh2007)
You're right, it's not funny. It's satirical and dark (and mildly humorous in its portrayals). I've observed that people who find things such as Guryan's, "devoid of intelligence," are usually afraid of self analysis, which both stems from and perpetuates ignorance to the point that it becomes congenital.
Great stuff. Never ... ( 1 year ago by loungelizard5000)
Great stuff. Never let up on those oil whores who are trying to kill the middle class in this country.

yeah, I remember songs that used to make a point, remember that oldie but goodie called "I just dropped 6 lbs. of wet peanut riddled shit on a liberals head for whining like a baby", now that was a great song-poetic and full of free expression.

It's like I totally knew all the lyrics. I could sing along the first time through.

How stupid are YOU for not realizing that dark satire isn't funny? Especially accompanied by this cartoony video with rows of chorus line Ann Coulters? Are you really this dense?

Since when is dark satire not funny ? Sounds like you're the one who's dense. You calling another commenter "dense" is like $hit telling vomit that it stinks.

Eek... meant "is" rather than "isn't" obviously. My mistake, though you'd imagine you'd figure out the point and error.

Nice mix of lyrical and political; it's not the form, it's the content. Very nice work.
