I am the same way but tack on a few more hours. funny how I am still working on 5 now for about a year, am am still not getting up to 60 catches. I am 100% sur4e I was over 50 once. Is that my age? did I start too late to learn faster? I even constantly and randomly drop the easiest 5 ball multiplexes(splits).
Last 2-3 months I've not noticed any improvement off of my average 20-35 catches.

I'm working on 5. Your video has been helpful but one detail I must add is that the flash should be practiced from both sides. The full pattern is essentially 10 throws, not 5. If you continually transfer the fifth ball to the dominant hand (as you do in the clip), you will find it very hard to run the pattern. After working on my weak side flash, my progress has been much faster. This may seem an obvious point, but it wasn't to me initially and I thought it might be of help to others.

Chris, when you get a chance could you point me to an online resource that explains what the numbers stand for in juggling patterns (5771, etc.)? I'm having trouble understanding this concept. Thanks.

nice tutorial i'm learning five at the moment. I used to always start with my right hand then the techer at my circus club said lean to start with my left aswell. so no i find it easyer to start with my left and can go on for longer like that even though i'm right handed. Thanks very much.
