This is the most fantastic opening sequence in movie history and the movie was great too. It explains it all.... space, time, electromagnetic waves and finally size. Then to have it, mix out from her eye. Wow! Some people just have a talent for visual explanation

Any ideas on how we can travel to these stars and galaxies? The obvious idea would be to colonise our own solar system and then move on. Terraforming Mars and then using the gas giants moons as launch pads into interplanetary space. 10% of light speed would get us to Promixa Centuari in about forty years? How far could we really travel at the speed of light? I need some answers.

If you were able to really move that fast, you wouldn't be able to see a thing because the camera is zooming out faster than the speed of light, therefore light cannot even reach your eyes.
The intro hurts my head. The thought of so many people in the world... people in the galaxy... people in the universe... the number of women in the universe . . . *sigh*

we dont have the technology yet. We've only been in space for 50 years or so and the budget for space for a year is about the same as one week of the US Military budget (I heard someone from Nasa say). You gotta have the funding, and the will of the government which just isnt there. You wanna look at warp travel, ect were nowhere near its like going back to the year 1700 and ask them to build the concord. The technology gap is still far to high. Give us another 100 years then maybe.

The quark theory (the part about them being hollo) is impossible,if you think about the sub atomic particles in the base chambers of the quark(theory),then the rapid growth and regrowth woul completly break the chamber,creating a "full" qark,until the quark is broken and (my theory) of quark regeneration would prove once and forall,that my penis is fuckin huge!!!
