It *is* too bad. I was lucky enough to experience her as Nerone in L'inconorazione di Poppea a couple of days ago and even when she's sick (they almost had to cancel), she still owns the stage and sings everybody else off of it :)

Do you know what she has (you say "she's sick" ) I hope she doesn't have anything serious. I only recently learned about the fate of Lorraine Hunt and that's pretty sad. I hope Tuva is basically fine, and can give us lots and lots of great performances.

Oh, me too. This particular one has been a personal favourite for years. Thankfully she works for the Danish Opera which is situated a few kilometres from where I live :)

Oh LUCKY YOU! To have her in your HOME opera house!! Didn't know her at all, up to now my fav Sesto was Kirchschlager. These Sesto arias are so good SO good. She does a fabulous job, thx again for presenting her to the unlucky non-Copenhageners ;-)
