Here's a little trivia, Mama Cass from the Mama and the Papas died on July 9th 1974 in an apartment owned by Harry. In 1978 Keith Moon from the band the WHO also died in the same apartment. Harry got so freaked out over it that he sold the apartment no long after.

Interesting bit of info, thanks. Of course it goes without mentioning that this song is made just a bit sadder now that Harry has gone too. My Granpa told me the last time my eyes beheld him not to cry for him because he was going home. If any tears were to be shed it should be for me cause I'm still stuck here.
