Stargate sg-1 really lost the plot after season 8. The ark of truth was alright but at times it was really cheesy and it didn't dive into the characters well enough. Hope continuum is good, rda will certainly bring something that was lost after he left, humour!

I'm a huge Stargate fan from the original movie and the first time the series aired , I loved season 10 but this movie finale is , and it hurts me to say this , poor , very poor. It never rates better than a mediocar episode at best. There is no real depth , everything just goes to easy and is solved to easy. Even the twist that happens on board the oddessy which at first was an ooh my god moment get annoying and contributes nothing to the story.

I am a HUGE stargate fan. Like, love it. I bought the movie right away and skipped on home to watch it and was SO disappointed. It was quite honestly like a dragged out -- okay episode! Not even a good one! (they stopped being awesome after Jack left) There was a certain chemistry that the show always had and I understand that the movie was meant to wrap things up, but I REALLY hope the next movie will be worth it, because this one was hardly it.

What people didn't realise, that there were differences between Brad Wright and USAF (who co-authored and sponsored the show with over 75 M$). As I've understood the dispute, USAF did not want to expend the money for pure entertainment, they looked the show more as a communication platform to inform about the controversial ET/UFO topic in a manner they couldn't do officially. (See weird 'off topic' dialogues in e.g. Revelations, Prometheus, Colson, Headhunters)

No Bullshit. In 2001 there was the Disclosure Project press conference. USAF had simply to act to take public pressure trom the UFO topic. By 'taking over' the show, they had an information platform, well suited to release information they wanted. If that were simply hogwash, than please me, why most UFO-files had been classified secret or top secret. (See FOIA docs) Rather weird measures for hogwash. Isn't it?

Well, your position is just right from the official point of view. If you want to keep it, I'd appreciate it. However, if you ever asked if something true is behind the topic, I'd read a scientific study. Google for +UAP +MOD. Your will run into former top secret UFO files of UK MOD. (Not known as nuts) You can also search for 'Disclosure project' on YT - or you can ask me, I can explain you the physics behind the propulsion systems, power-plant and microwave plasmas.
