i think we pretty much agree, except on the Theocracy aspect :-) so I am glad to hear a Jewish person voice such a logic position on Israel, and not just blind support not something you hear everyday. :-)

S 1959 goes before the senate soon.

You said It is not the fault of Israel, the problems of Palestinian peoples? Of course. 'Israel' was set up in their land by Zionists. Invaded. taken over, and then they persecute Palestinians.
Also it is a myth that Jews and Arabs have been in conflict for thousands of years!

Excellent points, Matt. It is tragedic that more wisdom wasn't in evidence when Israel was carved out of Palestinian lands in 1947. Displaced survivors from WW II had a right to a homeland, BUT the political powers should have forseen what would happen if extreme care wasn't taken...Now it has happened...What a tragedy!
The elite knew what ... ( 9 months ago by shrunkensimon)
The elite knew what they were doing by establishing a homeland whilst others were living there. It becomes quite obvious why when you consider Israels history of nuclear weapons technology, and how the US and UK practically gave them the materials..
Its also ironic that its claimed to be a "safehaven", when infact putting that many Jewish people in one place makes them an even bigger target to hit.
Its even more ironic that the flag features a hexagram, the symbol for the heart chakra..

I agree with what you said about terrorism having many faces. I think it's very true that a lot of terrorism happens every day right at home in a lot of countries in the west like Canada and the U.S., but because of all the focus on Afghanistan and Iraq among other places in the middle east, it can get over-looked. Terrorism exists everywhere in the world on some level, it's just that it can seem to be more present is some places than in others especially when wars are going on.

That area has always been a bone of contention
and no matter who is there it'll be contested
until humans finally outgrow the need to use
force to settle everything. Blaming the problem
on something external to the human heart defeats
all solutions.

It's perfectly OK ... ( 9 months ago by mistaspot1)
It's perfectly OK to be anti-Judaism. Just like it is perfectly OK to be anti-Christianity or anti-Islam... The problem arises when you equate Judaism with the Jewish people. Too often that's what is done. I'm not against a race of humans. I'm against a race of humans' religion. The Israel/Palestinian conflict is that perfect unhealthy mix of religion and politics. It's very interesting but I could do without it..
Anti- is too vague ... ( 6 months ago by ruptureskullz)
Anti- is too vague .. many people are anti-something but in different way .. I for one am "anti-christian" or more like anti-modernchristian lol .. modern christianity is a disgrace compared to what it was supposed to be. You can take an ignorant skinhead and he will be anti-judaism but without a legit reason for why.. i don't grasp what you mean by race..either way race is cultural not biological so it wouldnt matter .. a fact people dont seem to want to accept!
