You want me to define my terms? Well what should I have to define? I'm not trying to express a view of an idea. I'm trying to express that I do not trust America with anarchism. I do not trust people to be in charge and to help take care of each other. I do not trust business to go unregulated. I do not trust people that get money from retirement to continue to get their money when you take away who sends them their check.
In order to be free, some freedoms have to go. Like freedom to enslave!

See the way I define freedom it means not having anyone use force against you. I noticed that you keep on asking questions of me about how things could work without force, I say you should start brainstorming yourself. If you want to prove that something won't work then try your hardest to make it work and watch to see weather or not it does. What ever motivates rulers to assist people in need is surely present in other people as well, unless using force against humans makes you more kind.

Let's see.. Kris owes me over 500 dollars because I didn't want to see him, his wife, and 2 kids kicked out on the streets.
My room mates have paid half of what I have paid for the bills, and yet it was supposed to be split 3-ways.
When I was in college I dislocated my knee and only 1 person came to visit me.
I have not had a single friendship where I get help when I need it and I need it because I help others.
People don't fucking help each other

Makaisenki; The rot is world wide. There certainly are small communities in Australia that you can 'Hide' from the troubles of the rest of the world. But anywhere the populations are large 'Government' is sucking the life from the people.
Obama is showing no signs He will reverse the trends .
If anything he will only add to the problem. With the best intentions of course.

Obama is the only hope I have for this country. If things don't start improving under him then I have no reason to stay in this country.
Obama wants to get the people more involved in the political system. Governments only walk all over people if the people are apathetic. Look at the DNC and the RNC and tell me which party as the chance to get people more involved.

Getting involved is not always a good thing. It depends on how people get involved. I totally agree with you that "Governments only walk all over people if the people are apathetic," but the solution to that is not more gov't. Gov't suppresses. It doesn't matter how involved people think they are and Obama will increase the gov't's size. People need to get involved, but in the manner of pushing back against the gov't. To prove that we are in charge of them, not the other way around.

Well dont' forget that government has a LOT of important factors that help with our society. I.E. the fact that we deregulated AIG is pretty much what caused AIG to happen.
Sometimes we need less government, sometimes we need more government. There's no magic government answer that's going to provide all the answers. We have to break away from what doesn't work and work with what does. Fact is McCain isn't going to fix anything. He's best friends/cake eater with president bush. Be realistic.

Pt.2 The only reason we are in an economic crisis right now is b/c of gov't manipulation and regulation of the economy. It's the problem, not the savior. It's soft money and debt coverage assurances allowed Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to borrow at better rates than other private companies. Subsidized lending, the Fed's artificially low interest rates, the Community Reinvestment Act-all of these things were gov't created problems...end pt.2

Pt.3 that were only exacerbated by the deregulation. In other words, deregulation doesn't mean what you think it does. It was not an example of good nanny gov't that thought it'd let its children run free, but the children got into trouble on their own. NO. The gov't's fingers have been in the market's pies for too long and so when they took them out, the holes couldn't be closed up. Without responsibility and competition as self-regulation, there will be failure. End pt.3

Pt.4 Furthermore, when the gov't decides to bail these companies out, they have to pay to do it. They can't wave a magic wand, as you pointed out. It cost $85 billion to bail out AIG. Where does that money come from? They print it. And that devalues every dollar, which makes our buying power less b/c our salaries don't automatically go up. So this bill is laid at our feet without our consent or say. Is that right? NO! And the gov't's the culprit. This is immoral. End pt.4

Pt.5 And don't forget about the $9.5 trillion debt already at our doorsteps. We will never need more gov't. I'm not an anarchist. Gov't should be there, but like the founders said-only to protect our rights. That's it. History has proven that society and markets work better when left alone. I don't like McCain either, but it's not only b/c he's pro-Bush but also b/c he's big gov't. This is a slippery slope and Obama's skiing downhill with him. End pt.5

Pt.6 Jim Cramer of Mad Money said "Gov't regulation has allowed AIG to do whatever it wants." And we can't know about it because they won't disclose and the gov't protects them. There is no magic gov't solution, but there is a magic and perfect gov't model and it's the Constitution and Declaration of Independences' model. We will have to work at it, but the other choices are not good: anarchy where you have no rights and communism where you have no rights. Am I being realistic enough for you?

Regulating business defends our rights. Examples Unions gave us rights that we take for granted, BUT we have to have the goverment keep businesses from firing people and intimidating them out of unions.
So... your views are cconstrued. You're stating one thing but you're not paying attention to the other half of it.
AIG happened because of deregulation... ya... um... great... I'd rather have regulation to protect people than deregulation to promote business screwing people. Cue Enron and AIG
