what kinda material do u use to make the impression?

They use alginate, which is a very rapid rubber like material. It comes in powder form and when mixed at around 1:1 with water it sets to a highly detailed mould. This happens in only 90 seconds and so its ideal for taking body casts. It is none toxic.

I have lost my eye, and the muscles, tissue, eye lids eyebrow. Do u know any one who can create a prothestic eye for me? I have heard of some people who lose thier eye and eye tissue and muscles to cancer, can have a clip on artifical eye with eye lids etc, that clip on to metal studs secured to the cheek bone.
Can u please help me with any contacts you may know?

I've had an ocular prosthesis ever since I was four months old, thanks to cancer. I've had at least 4-5 eyes made (I think I'm on my 5th one right now). I have watched my current ocularist make 2 of my eyes and it never ceases to amaze me the amount of work that goes into making these. Thank you for posting this. Is this from the "How It's Made" episode?
